The Story

Born and raised (by two amazing and hard-working parents) on the family dairy/grain farm near Melville, Saskatchewan, Brian was taught the value and life principles of working hard, being reliable, being honest, and clearly understanding that your integrity is the most valuable asset you own. Each day, Brian works diligently to deliver these well-learned principles to his practice and work with his valued clients.

Brian is a season ticket holder and a “long-suffering,” proud member of the Rider Nation (Edmonton Oiler and Las Vegas Raider fan also).

During the winter months, Brian plays pickup hockey regularly and rides the snow trails on his Skidoo. As for the “far too short” Saskatchewan summers, he enjoys spending free time outdoors either golfing or cruising the provincial highways on his motorcycle with friends.

Brian is married to his wonderful and incredible wife (and business partner), Amanda, and now that they are on the cusp of being “Empty Nesters,” they truly enjoy any precious time they get to spend with their three kids.

Caitlin Willcox

My name is Caitlin Willcox, and I am thrilled to be joining the team at Smart Investing Solutions.

With strong roots right here in Saskatchewan, I know I will fit right in. I was born and raised in Regina, I attended high school at Campbell Collegiate, graduating in 2018 (which makes me almost 25 – quarter of a century… yikes).

Family is a big part of my life and very important to me. I am very excited to now extend that part of my life into my career, joining Brian & Amanda’s (my Uncle and Aunt) office, starting as a junior advisor.

In our training sessions over the last year, Uncle Brian has drilled into my head that constantly and consistently earning your trust is the foundational cornerstone of our business.

Without you… we don’t have a business, and my goal is to earn your confidence and trust by following Uncle Brian’s example, namely “doing the RIGHT thing.” To directly quote him, “Caitlin, everything we do HAS to be in our client’s best interest. We always act as if everything we do will be reported in the newspaper (or Facebook or X) the next day.”

Outside of the office, I own a personal training and nutritionist business where I enjoy investing in and seeing my clients through to their fitness goals.

I am a proud mom to my son, Henry who will be turning two this month, and a wife to my incredible husband Luke, an industrial electrician (if your power goes out, you can call me. I know a guy who can fix it… LOL!).
